WHERE IS THE EXHIBITION SITUATED

The exhibition is situated in Moscow, 37 Leningradsky prospect, the Central airfield named after M.V. Frunze. The exhibition operates every day from 10.00 till 17.00 without breaks and without restrictions for both Russian and foreign visitors.

One can get to the exhibition travelling to the "Dynamo" or "Airport" metro station and then two stops further by tram ? 23 or trolley buses ? 12, 70 up to "Aerovokzal" (Air Terminal) stop. The exhibition is 300 meters behind the Air Terminal.

Alexander V. Bobrovnikov is the general director of the exhibition and Gennady P. Roschin is his deputy.


SHORTLY ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

The exhibition was organized in July 1991 and now the display numbers more than 60 aircraft designed in various experimental design bureaus (OKB) of Russia. Among them there are jet planes, helicopters and pilotless reconnaissance aircraft produced serially since 1950 up to the present.

The aircraft on display are placed openly on the airfield, the territory of which allows to enlarge the exposition and to built in the future air museum with hangars for aircraft.
The near-by runway allows new aircraft to land for the exhibition.
